Hy guys,, this week I've gotten a new lesson from my listening class. Last meeting, my lecturer asked to show some videos on www.youtube.com. The videos from aglo-link. One video talked about British Vs American English Pronunciation Lesson and the other one talked about Phrasal Verbs in Daily Conversation. From the videos I got some new knowledge about English pronunciation and the differences between British English and American English. I also studied about phrasal verbs which is used by British people in their daily conversation.
Right, I'll try to share what I've gotten. Guys, actually there are some differences pronunciation between British English and American English. Such as when British people utter "r" letter differences with American people utter it. British people do not always utter "r" letter clearly. "r" clearly utter when it is in initial of word. But American people always utter "r" clearly, even thought it is in initial, middle or last of word.
Oke, the other video talks about phrasal verb. English has many phrasal verbs. For example "take up". It is the phrasal verb that has a number of meaning. It can means begin a new activity. It also means accept an offer or invitation.
For more information you can see the videos that I'll up load later.
Bye ^_^
